Sunday April 17, 2016 – Wiper Democratic Movement, David Musila, has said that he led a delegation of Kitui leaders to State House, Nairobi, to discuss regional development with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Addressing journalists after the State House meeting, Musila said that Kitui leaders are free to meet the President like any other leader and urged the media to stop speculation about their meeting with the Head of State.
Asked about Jubilee reaching out to former Vice President, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musila said
“I am not aware of that and am also not saying it may not happen in future….. He is the only person who can comment.”
In the State House meeting, Uhuru agreed to tour Ukambani in the coming three weeks to launch mega development projects.
The Kenya poa has learnt that the Jubilee administration has been using emissaries – Health Cabinet Secretary, Dr Cleopas Mailu, and former Makueni County Secretary, Professor John Muteti, to persuade leaders to convince Kalonzo to join Jubilee. The secret meetings have recently come to open hence the name watermelon tag starting to stick properly for Former Vp Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka.
