Saleh Wanjala alias ‘Bungoma James Bond’ arrived in Nairobi today morning on a flight from Kisumu Airport alongside his family members.
The flight was sponsored by a businessman, Lendrix Waswa, who also bailed him out from court following the helicopter incident.
Saleh and his family will be treated to lunch at Waswa’s Lavington residence later in the day.
Waswa said he chose to sponsor the flight to award Saleh’s bravery act which can only be compared to Hollywood fiction movies.
Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu indicated that he was thinking of giving Saleh Wanjala a free trip to actualise his dream of flying, but the trip is yet to take place.
Bungoma ‘James Bond’ attracted media attention nationally and worldwide after he hung on a flying helicopter carrying remains of the late Jacob Juma in Bungoma.
