Chuka town road signs named after Uhuru, Ruto vandalised!

image.jpegUhuru and Ruto’s names were removed from signs following what is believed to have been an order from them.

Njuki blamed “three prominent figures” he did not name saying they were out to taint his political image.

But Meru South deputy police boss John Kilonzo said they were yet to identify the vandals. He asked residents to give police any helpful information.

Ragwa’s omission from the naming sparked outrage by the county government but Chuka town administrator Boniface Murithi said they were not involved.

The Governor skipped Uhuru’s first and only visit to the county in December 2013 saying he was not involved in the arrangements.

Uhuru commissioned the roads, which are now the talk of the town, at a cost of Sh300 million.
