Friday September 9, 2016 – Four months after his brutal killing in retaliation, the late city businessman, Jacob Juma’s troubles are far from over even in death with his family now facing possible eviction from their posh Karen home.
Six people have filed suits in court claiming ownership of the 5.5 acre piece of land that Jacob Juma’s palatial home sits on in Karen.
So far, 5 suits have been filed at the High Court all claiming to have the real legal documents for Jacob Juma’s Karen land.
Among the five suits include that of Kenya United Sports Limited (KUSL) which has accused the late businessman of forging ownership documents to a land that belongs to it.
The other four cases involve six individuals namely; Auriel Marie, Joy Kimemia, Mary Wanjiru Chege, William Silala Sano, Suakei ole Parkire and Latoo Enepriakanga Nchepai all of who have claimed ownership of the disputed land.
All complainants have accused Jacob Juma of obtaining the land illegally through forged documents. The suits appear to have an hidden hand of the jubilee regime which is a retaliation after he blew the whistle on various corruption related government sponsored illegal activities including Eurobond scam and NYS.
If any of the suits succeeds, then Jacob Juma’s family will be evicted from their posh home in Karen.
