Wednesday September 14, 2016 – Embattled Budalangi MP, Ababu Namwamba, has once again denied allegations that he was headed to the new Jubilee Party.
This is after Deputy President William Ruto confessed that he and President Uhuru Kenyatta used Namwamba to split ODM and Western for their own political expediency.
However, after using him, Jubilee rejected Namwamba from joining the party again, saying Jubilee was not a dump site for CORD defectors.
Led by National Assembly Majority Leader, Aden Duale, the Jubilee leaders cautioned Uhuru/ Ruto not to allow Namwamba into the party because he is a danger to the party and its future.
But speaking yesterday, Ababu said he had never signed a deal with William Ruto over moving to the Jubilee Coalition.
He termed the talk as rubbish saying his focus was on the Luhya unity and nothing else.
“I did not agree to join Jubilee.”
“I have said before that I am for Luhya unity and will fight for it to the end,” said Namwamba.
“In politics you win some and lose some,” he added.
