Ford Kenya threatens to leave CORD over flag-bearer position

Ford Kenya, Senator Moses Wetangula’s party has threatened to go it alone in 2017 general elections as predicted by this blog (Kenyapoa). As part of the conspiracy involving Senator Moses Watengula and former vice President Kalonzo Musyoka, it appears our predictions are turning out to be true. We stated in the past that, Kalonzo and Wetangula were paid to checkmate on Odinga and to divide the opposition towards 2017. Both Kalonzo and Wetangula pretended to be opposition only to join forces later on with jubilee. We wait to see what happens next.

Likuyani MP Enoch Kibunguchy said the Ford party could go alone if Coalition of Reforms and Democracy (CORD) denied them the CORD flag-bearer or running mate post.

The party wants CORD to choose Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula as the party’s flag bearer or the running mate in the 2017 elections.

Kibunguchy urged Raila Odinga to ‘give way’ or the party exits from the coalition.

The statement comes just hours after Wetangula differed sharply with his co-principals in the coalition over the proposal to register CORD as a political party.

Wetangula said his party wants the CORD flag-bearer and running mate position be available to only two principals.

In July, 2016 Moses Wetangula asked his co-principal Raila Odinga to step down from his presidential bid saying he had vied for the presidency three times and failed.
