The head of Kenya’s swimming federation, Ben Ekumbo was found huddled under the bed at his house a few days ago- he stands accused of stealing uniforms and kits meant for the Kenya Olympics team.
At his house, Nike uniforms were recovered. If you can remember, the Kenyan team didn’t even have enough uniforms and kits during the Rio-Olympics.
When he appeared in court, Ekumbo was dressed in a Nike hoodie that has a Kenyan logo emblazoned on the chest.
The same logo that he wore was the one that he had been accused of stealing and confiscating in the first place.
What shocked people in court was that he came in court dressed in the same merchandise that he had been accused of stealing to start with.
On social media, users felt that he was showing the court his middle finger by showing up dressed in evidence without a care in the world.
