Outspoken Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has sensationally claimed his life is in danger.
Khalwale who is seeking to become the next Kakamega Governor on a FORD Kenya ticket on Sunday, June 18 2017 recorded a statement with the police after his life was allegedly threatened by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Taking to social media, Khalwale said he was forced to record a statement at the Kakamega Police Station after President Uhuru issued threats against him during a Jubilee Rally at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega. Boni Khalwale.
‘’I’ve this morning recorded a statement at Kakamega Police Station concerning Uhuru’s threats against me.’’Khalwale tweeted.
The latest development was confirmed by Regional police commander Moses Ombati who said indeed Khalwale had recorded a statement and that the issue was under investigation.
‘’He was here in the morning with the allegations but we have just recorded him.We are waiting for more evidence before taking any action.
After getting details we shall act.’’Ombati said. President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, June 17 2017 while in Kakamega accused the bullfighter of instigating discord in the region.
