NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga took his campaigns to Meru and Embu a day after he earned praises from his supporters for appearing for the Presidential Debate.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on the other hand took his campaigns to Murang’a and Nyeri amidst accusations for evading the debate.
During his Meru tour, Raila was met by a mammoth crowd and during his address, his speech was interrupted by anti-Uhuru slogans.
He asked the residents to vote for him and ensure that they send Jubilee home in “by 10 am”.
Meru is one of the areas considered a swing vote region and both Jubilee and NASA have been visiting there several times.
Area governor Peter Munya is in no good terms with Jubilee party and has been considered an Opposition sympathizer although he has denied the assertions.
